Welcome to Columbia in Bloom, a Columbia Missourian blog documenting Columbia’s first evaluation for the friendly contest and community development program, America in Bloom. The program encourages citizens to collaborate in order to make their community a better place to live. Columbia is ready for its evaluation. Our mission, through this blog, is to present the judges’ evaluations first-hand. They have a full two-day schedule, hosted by private citizens and public officials, and we hope to highlight several great accomplishments of our city as they see them.
